Don’ts and Do’s for East facing House / Flats
East facing houses / flats are considered most auspicious according to Vaastu shastra, because East direction plays most vital role in any house.
More than just the direction, always keep in mind that East portion of the house should be Clutter free, No Cut, Not Closed or covered to get the optimum benefits from East.
This is because the East and Northeast direction receives more Ultraviolet rays from the SUN in the early morning due to tilted Earth [23 Degrees]
East Facing House Flats Vaastu 10 Don’ts
- Strict No to Toilets in Northeast or in East area of the House being that is a Big Vaastu defect (Dosh)
- Couple should never use East bedroom
- There should not be Septic tank in East area of the House
- A staircase in East is a major Vaastu defect
- Don’t purchase a plot where the Slopes of the Plot is from North to South or East to West.
- Never plant big trees in North and East of the house.
- There should not be any cut in East direction.
- Never put an Overhead water tank in the East Direction
- Avoid plots or houses having “T” shape forming Road hitting in East direction (Vidhi Potu)
- Never use Blue color or blue elements in East area of the House
East Facing House Flats Vaastu 10 do’s
- Placing the main door in 5th pada of East can give you name and fame.
- You can place entrance in 4th Pada if 5th Pada is small or not viable.
- Construct North and East walls slight shorter and thinner than South and West walls.
- Kitchen should be in Southeast or Northwest.
- Cook must face East in Southeast kitchen and West in Northwest kitchen while cooking.
- Pooja room in Northeast is auspicious.
- A living room in Northeast is also recommended.
- According to Vaastu-Shastra construct the guest bedroom in Northwest direction of the Flat / house
- Plot having slopes from South to North and West to East are considered Good.
- Master bedroom must be in Southwest direction of the House
